The Dallas Farmers Market is one of my favorite places to go in Dallas. Whether you live in Dallas or are just visiting the city, the Dallas Farmers Market is definitely a stop you have to make, and here's why.
1. Fresh produce
Because who doesn't like picking from hundreds of locally grown, beautifully colored pieces of produce? Even people who don't like produce would like this.
2. Juice, juice and more juice
Seriously there could not be more juice available at the Farmers Market.
3. Baked goods galore
Anyone with even the slightest sweet tooth would be in heaven with all of the vendors selling freshly baked goods. And if you don't like sweets, they have plenty of savory options as well.
4. Plenty of cold-brewed coffee
5. Great local restaurants
The Market has tons of wonderful restaurants, like Rex's Fresh Seafood pictured below.
6. The friendliest workers
Every single vendor is happy to talk to you about their wonderful products, or even how your day is going.
7. Puppies everywhere
Okay maybe there isn't a basket of huskies at the Farmers Market, but there are always puppies. Every time I go I see a husky.
8. Helping local businesses
I mean really, what feels better than buying the freshest tomatoes and knowing that you're helping a local farmer?
