7 Thoughts I Had While Watch the Season 6 Premier of American Horror Story
Screenrant.com

The months leading up to the new season of American Horror Story were filled with questions and confusion as Ryan Murphy teased us with several different trailers. All except one were said to be red herrings and It was up to us to guess which trailer was the real deal. AHS fans went into overdrive trying to guess the theme for season six of the show and on Wednesday, September 14th, it was finally revealed. Be advised, the rest of this article contains spoilers, so if you missed the premier it's best to exit now.

Episode one was packed full of creepy, interesting, WTF moments. I was definitely mind blown so here are 7 thoughts I had during the premier.

1. Is this supposed to be like a reality show?

AHS veteran, Lily Rabe and Andre Holland, who play Shelby and Matt Miller, open the episode in what is set up as a confessional, like the ones we see on those ghost shows on the Discovery Channel. They play the "actual people" while "actors" act out the story they tell. And the name of the show within the show? "My Roanoke Nightmare"!!! It's all about the lost colony, OMFGGGGGGG!!!!!

2. Is that Cuba Gooding Jr.?!

It was. Cuba Gooding Jr. also plays Matt Miller, but the "actor" version, along with AHS favorite, Sarah Paulson, AKA "actor" version of Shelby Miller. I'm not the biggest CGJ fan but he always does really well in everything he's in so I'm board for him in this season.

3. Why would they buy an old farm house in the middle of the woods?!

The Millers have a traumatic scare in LA and decide to move to North Carolina. They go for a picnic in the woods and find this old abandoned farm house from the 1700's and decide to buy it, because why not? They made a mistake, clearly.

4. Teeth are falling from the sky!

After they are all moved into their new (creepy AF) home, weird things begin to happen. One of those weird things being a hail storm that hails human teeth instead of ice. But of course the only one who sees the teeth is Sarah/Shelby.

5. Why is she outside at night, BY HERSELF?!

Cuba/Matt goes out of town on business because hes a travelling salesman. Sarah/Shelby welcomes the alone time and pours herself some wine and takes a dip in the hot tub. At night. Alone. After she just saw a ghost in her house! Not surprisingly, bad stuff happens as she's attacked by whoever is haunting the property.

6. YAAASSSSSSS Angela Bassett!!!

The Voodoo Queen is back again and slaying the AHS game, except this time shes a pill popping, alcoholic, ex-cop and Cuba/Matt's sister. She is called upon to watch over Sarah/Shelby in the house when Cuba/Matt is out of town.

7. Why TF are you running into the woods?!

After not feeling safe in the house, and arguing with Cuba/Matt over his not believing her, Sarah/Shelby decides to flee the house to safer grounds. on her way down the road however she runs over a woman in colonial style clothes. She gets out of the car to see if the woman - who happens to be Kathy freaking Bates - is ok. Bates then gets up and walks into the woods and despite all of the horror movies that advise against it, Sarah/Shelby decides to follow her.

With so many twists and tuns in the first episode, I'm so ready to see what the rest of the season has in store.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
