As we all know (assuming so considering you clicked on this article) our Queen, Taylor Alison Swift is releasing her comeback album entitled "Reputation" on Friday, November 10th. If you're anything like me, absolutely NOTHING can prepare you for the intense emotions and feels this album is sure to bring. Taylor's image has changed once again and she's back for blood.
Look what you made her do.
All kidding aside, the ONLY way to get through waiting for the grand release of "Reputation" is to binge every single song Taylor Swift has ever written, sang, produced, etc. Because I cannot just make a list of all of those songs (it would take me approx 1,000 years), I'll have to settle for making a list of my top 15 Taylor Swift songs to binge while awaiting the release of her comeback.
1. "Holy Ground"
Flashback to the RED era, this bouncy tune is hard to NOT dance to and brings back memories of her long hair, bangs, and vintage dresses. A simpler time that doesn't feel so far away.
2. "Mine"
Going back even further to the Speak Now era, this song ruled the radio back in 2010. I'm still in denial that this song came out SEVEN YEARS AGO, WHAT!?
3. "Better Than Revenge"
Also from the Speak Now era, this was one of T-Swizzle's first "burn" songs, in which she's roasting Camilla Belle after her tragic breakup with Joe Jonas. I don't care who you are, you've probably sang this song into a hairbrush about that one girl at school you absolutely hated.
4. "New Romantics"
Ahh, the 1989 era. Arguably the most catchy album yet, but aren't they all? Although fans as a whole weren't excited about her music being pulled from Spotify and this video being released via Apple Music before being put on YouTube, it was worth the weight and I am VERY HAPPY to state that I'm listening to this catchy single via Spotify at this very moment. This song isn't just catchy: It's an anthem to being okay with who you are - even if most of the rumors are true, honey.
5. "Blank Space"
Staying in the 1989 era, this song is just... Wow. If there was a perfect song to walk down the stairs of a mansion in a flowing, fancy robe to, this would be it.
6. "Breathe"
Flashback to the Fearless era, this is the #1 song to cry to (or at least lip-sync to while staring out a window and pretending you're in a music video).
7. "Ready For It"
You knew it was coming, don't even pretend you didn't.
This song is fire, the music video is AMAZING, and if this is giving us any kind of hint as to what Reputation will be, we're in for a showstopper.
Taylor Swift's new Album, Reputation, releases on Friday, November 8th, 2017.
Are you "Ready For It"?
