October is National Pizza Month (aka the best month) and I think we can all agree that pizza certainly deserves its own month to be appreciated. Not like we don't already appreciate pizza 365 days of the year, but you catch my drift. If you are in Minnesota and looking for a new pizza place to celebrate National Pizza Month at, here are some suggestions:
1. Patrick's in St. Peter, MN
Patrick's surprised me when I first had their pizza. It was surprisingly good, like really good. If you are in the Mankato or St. Peter area I would 100% recommend stopping by Patrick's.
2. Davanni's Pizzas Hot Hoagies in Burnsville, MN
Whenever my family and I go up to Mall of America or the Eagan Outlets we always make a point to stop at Davanni's for lunch and/or dinner. They have a wide variety of options, but I would personally recommend the deep dish pepperoni pizza.
3. Punch Neapolitan Pizza in the Twin Cities

Punch Pizza isdelcious and I was first introduced to its mastery of pizza during a weekend soccer tournament. And I have never looked back!
4. Mr. Pizza in Rochester, MN

Growing up in Rochester, Minnesota meant that Mr. Pizza was a staple for birthday parties, sports banquets, and more. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. If you're ever in the area I highly recommend Mr. Pizza.
5. Jake's Stadium Pizza in Mankato, MN
My college, located in St. Peter about ten minutes away from Mankato, has a night every year where pizza companies from all around bring samples for students. Of course, I can't pass up free pizza and every year I go straight for Jake's Stadium Pizza. Their pizza is so well done and high quality!
6. Godfather's
Okay, so this one might not be local, but there's a good reason I chose to include it. I grew up eating Godfather's Pizza because it was just down the block from where I got my hair cut. Long story short I love Godfather's Pizza and not enough people I know appreciate it! If you're looking for an especially delicious pizza I would try their taco pizza!
7. Homemade Pizza In Your Kitchen
Got you good with this one, didn't I? But homemade pizza is the best way to celebrate National Pizza Month! You really appreciate food when you make it yourself, and this way you get to decide exactly what's on your pizza. It doesn't get much better than that.
I hope you all have a fantastic National Pizza Month!
