How I Met Your Mother is the popular show that lasted from 2005 to 2014. It currently has a spot on Netflix where it is available to binge watch at any given moment. Throughout its nine-season run, HIMYM has had various guest stars. Here is a list of the seven most memorable of its guest stars.

1. Mandy Moore

Mandy Moore played a character who temporarily had Ted's heart and encouraged him to get a butterfly tattoo. Moore currently is a star on the popular show, This Is Us.

2. Joe Manganiello

Manganiello played Brad, one of Marshall's law school friends. He has an on-and-off again relationship with another student, Kara. He is friends with the gang, even though at one point he betrays Marshall. Manganiello is currently married to Sophia Vergara.

3. Danica McKellar

Danica McKellar played Trudy, another one of Ted's paramours. She is mentioned sporadically throughout the series and is revealed to be married. McKellar is known for her performance as Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years. She is currently a mathematician.

4. Lucy Hale

Lucy Hale played Robin's little sister, Katie, whom the gang dissuades from having sex with her jerk of a boyfriend. They are successful, and Hale makes one last appearance at her sister's wedding in season nine. Hale is known worldwide for her character, Aria Montgomery.

5. Ashley Benson

Another PLL alumni! Ashley Benson plays Barney's little sister, Carly, who Ted sleeps with. Barney tries to marry them after he figures out what happened, but in the end, he realizes that he is over one night stands and is ready to get married.

6. Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole played Robin's former BFF on the show. She helps Lily realize her mistakes and even sings a duet with Robin at the end. May the Beaver song live on forever. She is currently a judge on America's Got Talent.

7. Jane Seymour

Seymour plays one of Marshall's tough law school professors who has just gotten out of a nasty divorce. In order to help out his friend, Barney selflessly decides to sleep with her to get her in a better mood. This proves tough when Barney realizes that this cougar can not be tamed so easiliy.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
