1. When people ask what you want for Christmas and you have to lie.

You really want that brand new iPhone and 80 inch TV, but it'd look pathetic if they got that for you and you can only afford to give them a $15 Starbucks gift card in return...

2. Knowing your mom deserves the world and more, but you can barely afford a Yankee Candle.

"Next year I'm going to save up to get my mom a super expensive Christmas gift!!!" - Every poor person in their 20's

3. Wanting to go hardcore at decorating and getting all the best decorations for the house, but you end up having to get your Christmas tree at the Big Lots clearance section.

...and it falls apart before Christmas day even gets here.

4. Feeling bad about not giving the Santa at the grocery store any money for their Christmas Charity.

5. Trying to figure out what to bring to the family Christmas dinner.

You always end up offering to bring "drinks", aka the 99 cent two-liter soda's they have on sale at Walmart.

6. Wanting to hang out with your friends who came home over the holiday break but you have to work over-time to afford Christmas gifts.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
