Do you just ever want some songs to vibe to? Some chill music to relax to? Here are six songs that fit such a request.
1. "Ivy" by Frank Ocean
Frank Ocean is just a music icon in general, but this song is particularly beautiful. Between the composition, the wholesome lyrics, and his distinct voice, this is the perfect song to just close your eyes and listen to.
2. "SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK" by Joji
Listening to this song feels like you are floating. Not in an anxious abyss type of way, but in a relaxing dream type of way. The production adds so many relaxing aspects to this song. it starts off very subtle and soft, but in the chorus it builds up to an explosion and just as quickly deescalates back to the softness from before. making it exhilarating and relaxing all at the same time.
3. "Too Fast" by Sonder
The background vocals, and a cappella heavy composition of this song really sets it apart from other songs in the article. It flows very nicely and has lyrics that aren't too hard to decipher. The different instruments and sounds make for a very light and airy sound.
4. "Orchid" by Jeremy Zucker
This song's production is just impeccable. the small details in the background of the song just makes the song so much more beautiful. Jeremy's voice is very therapeutic and his lyrics are so extremely raw. The song isn't over produced and is so delicately constructed that it just makes it such an easy listener.
5. "Too High" by Goody Grace ft. Jesse
Goody Grace's voice is just so comforting. The beat to the song isn't too aggressive or fast pace so it's perfect for a late night drive or vibe session. The song is just so easy listening and the lyrics are very real and personal too.
6. "Stranger (3)" by Dijon
the best way to listen to this song is in your room, late at night, when you are overthinking a tad too much. Dijon made "Stranger" a great song to just completely absorb and get lost in. The questions and uncertainty in the lyrics just make whatever you're feeling feel more valid and to me that is just so comforting.
