It's safe to say many of us have binged on Netflix at least once by now. I don't know about you guys but I get emotionally attached and my emotions go on a roller coaster ride no matter what series I start on. It may just be me but I get inspired by these shows and they often times make me want to pursue a career in whatever area the characters work. I know it sounds silly but if you have seen any of the thrilling, jaw-dropping, sit on the edge of your seat series I have you know you've at least once entertained the thought of becoming what these made up characters appear to be. Out of this list, I am sure you can find at least one series you've felt this way with.

1. Scandal

First of all who even knew a crisis management firm existed? Olivia Pope has brought this job to light and made it look probably a little cooler than it actually is in reality. I would easily take a shot at this job and if Fitzgerald Grant was included in the package you could definitely sign me up.

2. How to Get Away with Murder

Who hasn’t wanted to get paid for arguing? Lawyers do, of course, there's a little (a lot) more to it than arguing in court and making a case for your client, Annalise Keating made this evident. This twisted show didn’t persuade me to attempt to get away with murder but instead made me want to pursue a career in an area that tries to stop people from getting away with it. The quirky and mysterious cases Annalise and her team of students took on were some of the most thrilling I had seen this is probably once again because it was fiction. I seriously considered becoming a lawyer in the midst of the series then once again entered back into reality and realized I avoid confrontation at all cost much less make my job confronting people in front of a judge and a jury. I will leave it to the people like Annalise.

3. Sons of Anarchy

I know you can’t make a career out of running guns, riding motorcycles, and occasionally moving illegal substances but somehow Jax Teller made it look like a real one. I would NEVER encourage anyone to even perform these acts much less do them myself but for a moment I imagined myself as Tara or Gemma. To everyone's surprise, I didn’t fit the role but I do have to admit the thought of becoming a biker chick for the most badass biker gang around didn’t sound like the worst “job” in the world if you can call it that. Guys, you can't tell me you have never envisioned life as Jax Teller for at least a minute. Making money riding bikes and hanging out at your clubhouse is something kids dream of doing their whole life. The Sons of Anarchy made it a reality but everyone who's seen this series knows this isn't just child's play taking place in Charming.

4. Grey's Anatomy

I have to say though Meredith, Christina, Derrick, and Mark have never made operating, gushing blood, and severed body parts look so good. This show didn’t just make me want to become a nurse or any regular doctor but I am talking full fledged surgeon. After finishing the series and entering back into reality I quickly realized there was no way I could spend my day in a hospital with a million germs floating around, much less taking someone's life in my hands. Once again you can’t tell me you didn’t fantasize about this job at least once if you watched the series.

5. The Office

Although Dunder-Mifflin may not be a real business I think I would have to apply for a position if it were one. That is only if I was under the management of Michael Scott. No matter who you are if the Office does not make you laugh I am not sure what will. Selling copy paper and a desk job never looked like so much fun.

6. Gossip Girl

Fashion Designer, writer, chief editor of a highly acclaimed magazine, owning Bass Industries or just inheriting millions of dollars and never working a day look like promising careers in Gossip Girl. I would have to say my pick out of all of the careers in this series is inheriting millions although once again it's not a career, I know. Just fantasizing for a moment... Eleanor Waldorf made designing clothes look like a luxurious job that took you around the world. Chuck Bass made me want to start purchasing high rises and investing my money due to the lavish lifestyle he lived because of his father's hard work and investments. Dan Humphrey took a turn from everyone else's career and life path and wanted to become a writer. He did get one book published but his fame was short-lived, so maybe not my top career choice in the show but not a terrible one by any means. Nate Archibald rose to the top of "The Spectator", a highly acclaimed magazine in the series and was living the dream attending parties and publishing everyone else's dirty laundry. Although his got aired sometimes usually he got to make sure others were in the limelight versus him. Can't say I would decline any of these career paths if I were given the opportunity.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
