Despite being almost 22 years old, I have a dirty secret I need to address. I am still so invested in boy band culture. They are my ultimate guilty pleasure but for good reason. With swoon-worthy lyrics and cute eye candy, boy bands literally kill two birds with one stone.
While One Direction used to be king of them all, 5 Seconds of Summer is a close contender and hugely underrated. Not only are the majority of their songs actual bops, but they're extremely well written with lyrics to die for.
The fact that they have failed to release new music in TWO YEARS is a travesty in itself. Until they do decide to grace us with more magic, here's what we have to savor until then.
