Online shopping–a vice that many of us have (no shame). The only limitation is your imagination, and because of that, the internet can become a scary and debt-causing place, especially if your credit card is already saved and all you have to do is click a button. It's so fun to scroll around, find good deals, and must-haves.

It's okay to admit if you're an online shopaholic because you aren't alone, and all of you out there know that these five things are definitely true:

1. You have a virtual wardrobe

You most likely have 10 or more different stores that you have hundreds of dollars worth of clothes in your cart, and they simply stay there because you cannot afford them if you want to eat. Eventually, maybe one day if you're lucky, you'll be able to purchase some of those items. Until then, it feels like you own it and you become emotionally attached, but there in your cart it remains.

2. Amazon packages are a frequent occurrence

Ah, Amazon. The online shopper's main crutch and most frequently-visited tab on their browser. They have practically everything you could ever want and you don't even need to leave your couch or put on acceptable clothing.

Oh, and we can't forget about Prime shipping!! Come on, Amazon is practically creating online shopping addicts with their products like the Dash button and Amazon Pantry. Two-day free shipping? Sounds like a dream. What's that? Another package? Shocker.

3. You are an expert at finding what you want

Other people might browse the web for hours searching for what they need, not be able to find it or be able to tell if the clothing is in their size, but not you!! You have a system. Filter, sort (price low to high, am I right?), check the size guide, etc. You can find exactly what you need (want?) within minutes. Or, if you don't really need anything, you will play around on your favorite sites and eventually find a few things you need (want?).

4. Going into the store becomes a hassle

You truly know the wonders of online shopping. You have unlocked the magical universe of convenience and ease, and because of that, actually going into a physical store can seem appalling sometimes. And going into a dressing room? Don't even get me started...

5. Bargain shopping is a breeze

Black Friday? No way. Cyber Monday is where it's at! You can bargain shop from the comfort of your own home. Plus, you can easily compare prices by switching back and forth between tabs, click to the clearance/sale page easily, and also sort your results from lowest to highest price like I said before. If you could put "finding deals online" on your resume you TOTALLY would.

Online shopping is a skill one has to master, and once you have, it's hard to not enjoy it. Sometimes it's therapeutic, sometimes it kills time when you're bored, and sometimes you actually need to buy something. Nevertheless, no matter what for, there's no need to be ashamed.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from.
