5-Things That Every Couple Go Through On Valentine's Day But Doesn't Admit

When you are in a relationship or married, Valentine's Day becomes even more important. You could feel the romance all around and love in the air. But apart from the mush and love, you feel something tugging at your heart. Even if itsy bitsy or in the darkest corner of it, you feel a bit worried, a bit anxious over what to make of it. Almost every couple goes through a swell of emotions, a roller coaster of a ride of them and it is completely okay.

However, while we go on hustling for expensive dinners and gifts, we forget that just a bunch of roses could do the wonder if you mean it.

This Valentine's Day, let us make it about love and less about anxieties over what our partner would like. Read on.

Pressure

Everyone in a relationship goes through ups and downs. However, on a day like this, the pressure is immense. Your friends are posting online, vacationing in exotic locations, getting expensive gifts for each other. It is obvious that you are going to feel the heat too. Ideally, your focus should be on each other and how you could be happy together. Maybe she works at a stretch and if you could cook a nice dinner for the family and give her some rest, I am sure she would appreciate it more rather than spending a ton on a weekend getaway that drains her even more. If you guys are going through a tough time financially, a bunch of flowers, a home cooked meal and some quality time away from gadgets and other distraction would do you both more good than anything else. The focus should be on your idea of happiness.

If you are single, this mantra works even better then.

The Never-Ending Dilemma Of Gifts

Roses are the ultimate Valentine gift. Usually, lovers focus on getting a bunch of roses and pay exorbitant prices for that. However, there are various other options that often get overlooked in the glory of roses. If you are confused about which flowers you should be getting your sweetheart, you can consider flowers based on their personality traits. Or, you can personalize a gift as per their choice. You can get them a cake, a box of chocolates, balloons, soft toys and greeting cards along with flowers. You can get the flowers and gifts from the shop or if you are unable to go to the shop because of your busy schedule, then you can search Online Florist in India and order the flowers and gifts online.

Performance Anxiety

Movies have rather created quite a hyped up job around V Day. You meet your prince charming or a damsel in distress and fill their life with love. Not to mention, an earth-shattering roll in the hay later. Now, fast forward to real life, it is the mid-week and you have been slogging throughout the week. All you want to do after a nice dinner is to hit the sack and not wake up until morning.

Dear couples, remember nothing is set in stone. Don't go by the movies, stories, and tales you have been reading. Create your fairy tale. Be your type of normal or extraordinary and let the love take over.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
