Halloween is a season consisting of spookiness, jump-scares, and a lot of candy. On Halloween night, we all act like such savages for candy as if we have never received candy ever in our life. Although candy can be seen as a very materialistic thing, who doesn't want those full size Twix bars? Everyone loves to dress up in their favorite costumes and Halloween is such a festive and fantastic holiday/celebration. If only we had the day after Halloween as a day off from school. There are also some very extraordinary and interesting things that occur on October 31st, Halloween night. Here are 5 of the most important things I learned on Halloween night;
1. Kids will do anything for candy

2. The people who go full on "extra"
Who has the time to twin on Halloween? Heck, who even has the time to dress up? When it comes to dressing up, the people that find all matching costumes and are characters from a popular show are truly "extra". Okay they look great, but who has time for all that these days? Not me, for sure. Shout out to all the people who do, as you have truly captivated the spirit of Halloween.
3. Traffic is terrible
Ah, possibly the worst part about going Trick or Treating. The traffic. Especially in neighborhoods like country clubs, the traffic could not be worse. The parents having to stop their car at every house because their kid has to go get candy at every surrounding house. Ugh. It's just so annoying. Shout out to the people that walk instead of drive on Halloween night.
4. Parent's pity
Possibly the most important thing I learned on Halloween. Parents definitely take pity on little kids that wear cute costumes. They get more candy, more affection, and just the much better benefit. I know right, so NOT fair? It's okay, though, Halloween definitely isn't about the candy, am I right?
5. Bigger house = bigger surprise
