I don't know what you are going through and I can't imagine how you must be feeling, but I want to learn. I want to know about your days, good and bad. I want to know about your struggles and your victories.
2. You won't scare me away.
Please, above all else, never worry about being "too much." I want to carry your burdens with you. I want to support you. I know you didn't choose to feel this way, and I will never choose a life without your friendship.
3. I am sorry.
I am sorry you are going through this. I am sorry that the world seems so dark. I am sorry I didn't seize more opportunities to shine some light into it. I am sorry I didn't ask how you were doing or call to see how your Tuesday was.
4. Don't be sorry.
Your struggles are nothing to apologize for. Don't apologize for the way you are feeling. Don't apologize for needing a friend. And please don't apologize for the days when opening the curtains was just too difficult.
5. You are so loved.
You don't need to earn it. You don't need to meet certain requirements or specifications. And you don't have to be okay all the time to deserve love; you are so deserving.
