If you haven’t heard of the show Shameless, boy let me tell you you’re missing out. This Showtime hit is an adaptation of the British show with the same name. Full of drama, love, lust and the kitchen sink, this show will make you keep coming back for more. Here’s why.

1. Characters


The characters in the show are so open and raw that you truly feel connected to them. Personally that’s something I look for when watching any movie or show. Being able to relate or feel for the characters keeps you interested for more.

2. Relateable


Whether it’s Fiona getting cheated on or Frank drinking himself into oblivion there is always something to relate to in this series. I appreciate the realness if Shameless, everyone isn’t done up in hair and makeup. The house they live in isn’t a show room.

3. Brings Awareness To Mental Health

Both Ian and his mother have bipolar disorder. Though their behavior causes them to be in chaotic situations, they don’t let it keep them down for too long. Ian is probably one of my favorite characters❤️

4. Kev and V


Kev and V have the best relationship on the show. Even though as the seasons go on things get a little more complicated they always stay by each other. Plus they keep their relationship spicy and funny.

5. Lip Gallagher


Even though Lip has sure fire way of screwing everything up & being an asshole lots of the time. He always makes sure his family is taken care of & he’s really smart too. This hunk just needs to treat women better... a lot better.

This show is full of twists and turns. You’ll never expect what’s coming next and you’ll definitely be laughing or crying along the way. Login to your Netflix & get started because season 8 just got released 😉 OH ! And if you or anyone in your house is prude, this might not be the show for you !
