As college students, we have many situations we are going to face through out our years, which usually consists of the good the bad and the ugly and everything in between. Some of the few situations that we will face can be summed up in a few popular country songs. If you're anything like me, you'll relate to all of these.
1. Fix a Drink - Chris Janson
Well I can't fix that, no but I can fix a drink, pour it on ice mix it on up and get'cha feeling right I can get'cha buzzed, I can get'cha smiling I can make you feel like you're sitting on an island
What we college students can relate to from this song is that we're not very good at doing many things but fixing a drink at a party is one of the few things we're good at.
2. Drinking Problem - Midland
People say I've got a drinkin' problem that ain't no reason to stop people sayin' that I've hit rock bottom
There comes that point in college where all you want to do is party and get drunk and this is where your friends start to tell you need to stop before it becomes a big problem.
3. Every Little Thing - Carly Pearce
Every little thing I remember every little thing the high, the hurt, the shine, the sting of every little thing
If there's one thing we can say is that we remember all the horrible lectures staying up late to study and the mass amounts of crying because of stress.
4. The Weekend - Brantley Gilbert
Live it up for the weekend pour it up, have the time of your life take a shot for the regrets double up and it's bound to get buck wild
After a long week of classes we just really want it to be the weekend so we can unwind and relax a little before we have to do the week all over again.
5. Vacation - Thomas Rhett
Singing hey, let’s party like we on vacation hey, let’s party like we on vacation I got my toes up in the sand cold one in my hand toes up in the sand cold one in my hand singing hey, let’s party like we on vacation
When the semester is finally out for the summer we're on vacation and we don't plan to do anything else but be on vacation and have a beer in our hand.
