We've all experienced that guilt after buying a new piece of clothing or jewelry that you spend too much money on. Well, what if I told you there are stores that take part or all of that money and put it towards doing some good in the world? No more guilty feeling right? Most of these stores have a variety of clothing, accessories, and other items and all of them benefit a different cause in a big way. Here are 5 charitable companies you should consider buying from!
1. Pawz Shop
Pawz has a wide variety of different clothing for both you and your furry friend! From t-shirts to matching charms for you and your dog. It's on the pricier side of the spectrum. This maroon shirt goes for $31.99 but 10% of that money goes to saving homeless animals that are living in shelters. The company was created to raise awareness to the euthanizations of dogs in shelters as well as raise money for them. I'd say it's worth a buy or two!
2. 4Ocean
While this company may only sell one item, the entirety of the purchase is used remove one pound of trash from the world's oceans. 4Ocean has already removed almost 93,000 pounds of trash, saving many lives of sea creatures!! Not to mention the super cute bracelet is 100% made from 100% recycled materials!! Each bracelet goes for $20 a piece.
3. Respect the Fin
Respect the Fin is an organization that donates 20% of their profits to shark conservation and educational efforts. They have a bunch of cute clothing like hats, shirts, and even a cute shark ring! This hat goes for $28.99.
4. Ivory Ella
If you love elephants, you'll love Ivory Ella! They have a bunch of cute clothing and jewelry all about elephants. 10% of their profits go to saving the elephants! Just like Pawz, this company is pricey. This long-sleeved shirt goes for $36 but the money goes to a good cause!
5. Headbands of Hope
This one is probably my favorite on this list! I had the pleasure of having the creator of this company, Jess Ekstrom, speak at my school and I was so inspired by what she has done. Headbands of Hope donates a headband to a child with cancer who lost their hair during treatment. They sell all kinds of hair accessories like clips, elastics, and yes headbands. You can even subscribe to get a box filled with exclusive products from them every three months!
Check out any of these super cute and charitable stores! I bet that feeling of guilt will stay away for them. Happy shopping!
