Typically in going to college, you tend to meet people who fit a certain group or "clique" as some people would say. Today I'm going to be sorting them into Hogwarts houses! Stick around and read more to find out if you fit into the house you mostly associate with.

1. Gryffindor

Most people associate Gryffindors with being athletic or being courageous. So, they will most likely be a sports team player or a big partier. They'll be very outgoing and super fun and easy to talk to. The Gryffindors you meet will be sweet and kind (on most occasions). They will probably be a class clown and will probably go to extremes to make the class laugh. Above all, in the end, Gryffindors will always be your best and funniest friend.

2. Slytherin

My house! Slytherins are gonna be the sly kids with tons of ambition. They are most likely gonna be the kid's whose parents want the best for them but the kids don't exactly want that. They're going to do what they can to get what they want, while still doing their best. No, Slytherins aren't gonna be perfect angels, but some will have hearts of gold and are smarter than you believe. Just like every other house, this group will most certainly have its bad eggs, but, if you find the right ones Slytherins will be sweet and keep your deepest secrets.

3. Hufflepuff

The sweetest and most underrated house. Hufflepuffs will be the shy introverts or the brave extroverts who just want nice friends. They will treat you with respect and love you no matter what. Hufflepuffs are going to be the kids who want nothing more than to do good in school. They will turn in work early, ask for extra credit, and maybe even coax the teacher to make the test a later date so the whole class can study longer. They will be your absolute best and sweetest friend. They will encourage you to take risks and help you through your hard times.

4. Ravenclaw

Ravenclaws are highly underrated as well. I love how intelligent and caring they are. Most Ravenclaws will most likely have graduated high school as Valedictorian, if not with high honors. They will express themselves in so many wonderful ways and be amazing in their studies. They will help you if needed and treat you with respect and love. Ravenclaws will make great, lifelong friends and will be there to support you through no matter what.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
