4 Struggles ONLY Music Fanatics Understand
Start writing a post

Here are four struggles only music fanatics understand.

1. Being asked " Have you heard of this song/artist?"

I have been asked if I have heard of an artist, or a song so many times. The thing that makes this so frustrating is that I probably tried to introduce this song/artist to the person months before and they asked. I like knowing music trends before they're popular and introducing music to some of my friends doesn't always take until they hear by themselves.

2. Being overwhelmed by all the music out there

I often find myself in the funk of not knowing where to begin while listening to new music. So much music is out there and sometimes it can be extremely overwhelming when trying to listen to it all. The thought of never being able to listen to all the music that's in the world makes me so mad.

3. Being asked "Who are your favorite artists?"

The dreaded question. If you're anything like me, you can never answer this question. I have a hard time even picking my favorite genre. I always feel like I forget an artist or change my mind 3 minutes later. It ultimately just depends on the day and what mood I'm in.. It's such a hard question to answer.

4. Annoying your friends with random tidbits and facts about an artist or song

I know my friends are tired of hearing random facts that I have saved up for when the song comes on. I love learning about how songs are produced, what certain lyrics mean, and what the artist was going for when they released the song. My friends just like listening to music, not knowing the entire back story of a song.

If you still have not figured out what you want to cook on Thanksgiving, baked macaroni and cheese is something worth considering. It is simple, affordable, and delicious. I have had many different types of baked mac and cheese and most are dry. I do not like a dry mac and cheese, it just does not seem appealing to me. If you like the creamy cheesy essence of mac and cheese, look no further, this recipe is for you.

This Simple 7-Step DIY Face Mask Combines Safety — And Sustainability

Instead of studying like I intended on doing today, I made a face mask for some reason and thought I'd share how I did.

If you were looking for a simple way to make a mask, I am happy to share how I personally make them. I have a pretty small face in general, so I prefer having my homemade ones so they fit better. This is also a great alternative to just throwing away any clothes! Before starting, you will need to make sure you have fabric, thread, a needle, and pins; if you have a sewing machine, you obviously could use that instead of hand sewing it.

For me though, November is the perfect time to compile a playlist of songs that bring on major nostalgia which I think is perfect for this time of year. If you're looking for something to get you in that thankful spirit before you head into the Christmas spirit or something to play while you enjoy Friendsgiving, here are some go-to songs to add to your November playlist.

Taylor Swift is famous for her Easter eggs on social media that hint at what is coming next for her. Over the past few days, fans noticed a change in Swift's hair when she was accepting her win as Apple's songwriter of the year that was reminiscent of the "Red" era. Of course, this has caused widespread speculation that Swift has begun to re-record her masters.
