4 Competitive Cooking Shows That You Need To Watch
Pinsdaddy

I have recently understood the true fact that baking shows are by far the best shows to binge watch. That one baker that you love and know deserves to win always ends up having some amazing twist. In this article, I will be showing some of the cooking shows that you can binge watch right now

1. Zumbo's Just Desserts

Zumbo's Just Desserts is a show that takes you into a whimsical candy land that reminds me a lot of Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory. Bakers have to face off in a creative challenge and the bottom two of that challenge will have to recreate one of Zumbo's insane dessert creations. If you love fast-paced competition and people baking literal art pieces then this is the show for you.

2. The Great British Baking Show

This is one of my absolute favorites and one of the reasons I wrote this article. I recently have become obsessed with this fun and quirky competitive baking show. In this show, 12 bakers are put to the ultimate baking test by having to do a themed bake, a technical bake (one of the judge's recipes), and a show stopper.

As you watch along you begin to root for the baker that you believe deserves it all and cry as they are somehow always sent home. This show is extremely intense and as the bakers have 5 minutes left in their 2 hours timed baked you find yourself biting your nails and screaming at the tv trying to help them with their bake. If you love a good British accent and appreciate seeing people put up to a good challenge then this is the baking show for you.

3. Cupcake Wars

This eccentric host blasts off this show and helps guide us along the incredible feats of cupcakery that these bakers will perform. You will see in their themed competitions that these are some extremely incredible bakers that have to produce the same thing but in a new and innovative way every single time. Don't forget that there is a time limit during all of this too. So if you love a good theme and you love a good cupcake than this is the show for you!

4. The Big Family Cooking Showdown

This is one of the most diverse shows out of all of these shows. I literally have seen every family type and person shown in this show. Not only do they have to cook an appetizer and main dish, but they also have to cook a dessert in a limited amount of time. It has constantly reminded me to try and stay connected with my family because family is always the most important thing of all.

In conclusion, we can see that there are several choices for you to watch when it comes to competitive baking.

So next time you are laying in bed re-watching that episode of The Office for the 15th time maybe switch it up and give one of these unique shows a try. Who knows you might find your next show to binge watch.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
