Winter is coming — well, it’s already here! Layers upon layers were definitely needed to embrace this weather. As I would walk around campus, I saw so many people not wearing multiple layers to hide from the cold. Maybe they didn’t check the forecast before leaving for class, maybe they wanted to feel tough and brave the cold, or maybe they wanted to catch a cold so they can skip class. Whatever their reason is, it made me think that those who are not from colder climates don’t know what it’s like to walk from class to class in freezing weather. Since I'm from Florida originally, I fall in that category. I’ve spent a fair amount of time online shopping in desperate need of more chunky sweaters, coats, and hats to keep me warm.
