Lately I've noticed people trying too hard to be in a relationship with someone who doesn't truly deserve them; me being one of those people.

We try so hard to come up with excuses for the guy that we think we really like that we don't ever realize that they don't deserve us. We're all so naive and think that someone likes us just because they tell us through a text message. But what happens when you realize that you can never get them to hangout with you or take you on dates? You start to wonder about your self-worth and if they actually do things to show they deserve you.

So, here are 35 signs that show he does not deserve you:

1. He doesn't make time for you.

2. He is always talking about himself.

3. He never wants to hear about you.

4. You'll ask him how his day was, but he won't ask you.

5. Asking him to hangout with you feels like a chore.

6. He only engages in surface talk.

7. He makes you feel small.

8. He won't take you out on a date.

9. He won't take you out in public.

10. He doesn't introduce you to his friends.

11. He doesn't care to meet your friends.

12. He lies.

13. And you've caught him in the lies.

14. You text more than you talk face-to-face.

15. He doesn't appreciate little things you do for him.

16. He doesn't even notice that you do things just for him.

17. He doesn't try to get to know every layer of you.

18. Family? He wouldn't want to even talk about meeting them.

19. He only cares about his goals.

20. He makes it seem like your goals are small and unimportant.

21. He expects your life to revolve around his, not each others.

22. Every argument is started by you; this shows he doesn't care enough to argue with you.

23. He makes you feel stupid.

24. He breaks your trust over and over again.

25. He complains that he can't trust you but you've done nothing for him not to.

26. He doesn't help you when you're down.

27. He doesn't have your back.

28. He causes you to feel insecure when you never have before.

29. He makes you upset more than he makes you happy.

30. He doesn't go out of his way to make you feel happy whatsoever.

31. He ignores you, purposely.

32. He rarely gives you truthful compliments.

33. He won't stop talking to other girls even though he tells you it's only you.

34. He won't commit to you.

35. If he had committed to you, he cheated.

Instead of spending months, or even years in some cases, on someone who doesn't deserve you, go out and find you someone that gases you the fuck up and makes you feel wanted. Find someone who tells you you're beautiful when you just woke up and look like a dry mop. Find someone who wants to see you whenever they can and someone who gets happy knowing that they're making you happy. Don't try and change someone, eventually they'll change on their own. Just make sure they realize that they lost something good, something very good and they couldn't get it together quick enough. Find someone who asks you how your day was an genuinely wants to know everything about it.

Always remember that you deserve the world and you should accept nothing less.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
