It can be hard finding the motivation to get out of bed and making yourself look presentable for class, but it’s easier if you have a few set “uniforms” that you can quickly throw together and put on. What your uniforms consist of will depend on your own personal style and what you like to wear, but here are a few of my own outfit templates that have helped me out in a pinch more times than I can tell you.
Outfit 1:
Skinny Jeans
You can buy the jeans above, and other pairs like them, from American Eagle.
+ T Shirt
You can find t shirts that look like these pretty much anywhere.
+ Flats
I have a pair similar to these, also from Forever 21, and I wear them at least twice a week.
+ Statement Jewelry
Although it's not necessary, statement jewelry dresses up an otherwise basic outfit. When it comes to finding cool necklaces and other statement pieces, J Crew is literally the bomb. Even better is J Crew Factory, which is all the same stuff but for cheap.
I wear this jeans/tee/flats/necklace combo all the time because it's so easy yet polished.
Outfit 2:
Shortish Dress
This dress, and billions of other dresses just like it, can be found at Target. While you're there, you'll probably also end up buying three pairs of shoes, a comforter, school supplies for the next five years, and an iPhone 7, but that's okay.
+ Oversize Sweater
If you're a hipster you probably already have fifty-two of these, all found at various thrift shops in your area, but if not, you can get this one here.
Basically any shoes will work with this outfit: flats, booties, or sandals all will look fine. The perfect outfit for looking cute and being lazy at the same time.Outfit 3:
High-Waisted Shorts
FYI American Eagle is having a blowout sale on shorts/other summer stuff right now, so click here to take advantage!
+ T Shirt
Again, pretty much available anywhere.
+ Blazer
Available at--you guessed it--Target!!!!
+ FlatsPlain black flats are so simple but definitely a necessity to have.
I like this outfit because it takes really boring stuff that everyone wears (t shirts and high-waisted jean shorts) and pulls it together with the blazer and flats. It doesn't take any more effort to put a blazer on with an outfit but it makes a lot of things look 100x better. The greatest thing about having some simple uniforms like these is that you can mix and match pieces from each outfit--wear the dress with the blazer, or the high-waisted shorts with the oversized sweater and flats. It's a great way to look stylish all the time, without having to try too hard.
