The 3 Best Places to Move to After the Election

The 2016 presidential election has left a lot of scared Americans and has shocked the world with Donald Trump taking the electoral college and winning the presidency. Supposedly, the Canadian Immigration website had crashed soon after the winning candidate was declared due to an overflow of people visiting the website. People are looking for a way out of what they believe will not be a safe nation for many of the minority groups that live in it. So I put together a list of the top 5 best places to move to (excluding Canada, it'll become too overpopulated very fast).

1. The United Kingdom

This is of course on the top of the list. Home to many of the remarkable cathedrals and many other attractions, such as Big Ben or Stonehedge, you quite possibly will never run out of new things to visit. This could be a fabulous new home to a large amount of Americans very soon, though, so move fast! According to dunelm.wordpress.com, it'll cost around $15,000 to move if you wanted to spend a couple months to get settled in first. Time to crack open that piggy bank and get moving!

2. Spain

Due to the remarkably low cost of living and the famous "fiesta culture" (ATW80), there's no doubt as to why Spain would rank as the second best option on where to move to. The other advantage to moving to Spain is the ease of learning the language; however, this could, of course, be a huge disadvantage if you cannot learn languages very well.

3. Ireland:

Ireland is an immensely safe area of the world and is an easy place to find a cheap home. It hits the top three also because it's very close to Europe's mainland, so you could visit a new place every weekend, well, if your finances allow. Ireland's financial crisis may halt many people from moving here, but the further away from the Dublin, the easier it is on the wallet.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
