Smoothies are the perfect breakfast, snack, post-workout meal or even dessert. Smoothies nourish your body with essential nutrients and they taste absolutely incredible.
They are also a great way to get you all of your vitamins and minerals for the day. Making your own smoothie can be quick, easy, and is much better for you than buying one from the store. This is because store-bought smoothies are typically loaded with extra sugars and additives.
I have always been a smoothie aficionado. At one time, I think I was the Juice Bar’s number one customer, going there almost every other day. I love adding and mixing different fruits and vegetables together to create something delicious and healthy. However, I have found that I tend to keep making these three particular smoothies over and over again. These three smoothies I have listed below are the smoothies that I definitely make the most, each one is different, but all three are delicious and are packed with amazing vitamins and minerals!
1) Simple & Sweet Berry Smoothie:
This smoothie seriously tastes like peanut butter and jelly! The sweet berries mixed with the nutty almond butter makes a perfect combination and the best afternoon snack. Blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries are all filled with antioxidants and all support a healthy digestive system. While almond butter is a great healthy fat and an amazing source of protein. This smoothie will keep you full and give you loads of energy. With only 4 ingredients, this is a quick and easy smoothie to whip up whenever you need a little boost!
Ingredients:
1 cup almond milk
1/2 frozen mixed berries
1 tablespoon of almond butter
2 tablespoons of Honey
Handful of pomegranates seeds
Serves 1
Directions:

2) Avocado Green Dream Smoothie:
I know a lot of people get scared when they see a green colored smoothie, but this green smoothie is seriously delicious. The mix of the creamy avocado and sweet mango is utterly delectable. Another plus, the mango and banana completelydisguise the spinach hidden in there. Spinach is the super-food of all superfoods, packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, while avocado has great fats and loads of other amazing health benefits. So not only does this smoothie taste great, but it also is filled with the best nutrients to keep you healthy and going strong throughout the day!
Ingredients:
1 cup coconut water
1/2 frozen mango
1/2 banana
1/2 avocado
Handful of spinach
1/2 Lime
Serves 1

3) Chocolatey Cacao Peanut-Butter Smoothie
This last smoothie is seriously insane it tastes like a “healthy” chocolate milkshake. The mix of creamy peanut butter, sweet banana, chocolatey cacao, and cinnamon is so delicious. The star of this smoothie is definitely the cacao powder, which is the unprocessed version of cocoa powder. Cacao has the highest antioxidant value of all the natural foods in the world and it is also a great source of iron. And it tastes like chocolate! So really what’s not to love? So have this smoothie after a workout because it is filled with great protein or have it during the day for a sweet pick me up!

1 frozen banana
1 tablespoon of peanut-butter
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
Sprinkle of cinnamon
