My 3 Favorite YouTube Videos

My 3 Favorite YouTube Videos

YouTube is an ever-growing platform with a multitude of videos and communities. I grew up on YouTube, and I’ve watched a lot of viral videos and subscribed to a lot of different creators. There are some that I watch educationally and some that I watch just to laugh. Throughout my life, there are three videos that make me laugh, without fail, every single time.

1. "GHOST IN THE STALLS/STORY" - Olan Rogers

This video is six years old and I still cry from laughing every time I watch it. There’s no reason for any of this to happen, but it does and it makes me howl with laughter. Honestly, he could have made this entire thing up and I wouldn’t even be mad. Olan tells this story so well, and it’s so goddamn funny that I hope it’s true.

2. "Giving My Boyfriend Acrylic Nails" - Jenna Marbles

Jenna Marbles has been on YouTube for a long time, and the style of her channel has changed over time. With an upsurge in the “beauty community” on the site, Jenna has put her own spin on it. She’s willing to try anything once, despite not having any training, and have fun doing it.

After uploading two videos using acrylic nails, she gave some to her boyfriend, Julien. He’s so incredibly against it until his first hand is done. He has an actual transformation. Julien’s attitude is out, and it’s the funniest thing. I watch this video whenever I’m upset and I always feel better afterward.

3. "You’ve Been Applying Band-Aid Wrong" - Crazy Russian Hacker

I stumbled upon this video when my best friend cut her finger, right on the knuckle. We couldn’t figure out how to use the knuckle Band-Aids, so we looked it up naturally. This video was actually really helpful and she got the Band-Aid on with no problem. But what makes this so damn funny is how this guy talks.

Just his intro, my friend and I are pausing and rewinding multiple times to listen to it again. We ended up watching most of his kitchen gadget review videos, and I laughed so hard that my chest started to hurt.
