You would be lying if you did not form some kind of crush or interest on a fictional character in either a film or a book. Whether it is a Netflix romcom or series of books, we all have wished we had someone like the character we liked in the type of medium being used.

It is understandable to want bonds like the ones shown to us and even though it is fictional, it is okay that our expectations are high. It is not fair to us to settle for something, we all deserve the treatment people get in the movies.

Here are three fictional characters that really set our high standards for love, and who make it seemingly impossible for the average guy to impress nowadays.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. 17. That you don't always have to do it alone.

I have never been so thankful to know you.
