With Halloween being on a Tuesday this year, if you have any classes before like 11 on Wednesday, your options of what you can do are pretty limited. That's where I'm at too. Sure, I plan on going to Rocky Horror, but that's at like midnight and I need something to do before and while I wait for Trick-or-Treaters. Halloween movies here I come. Some of these are on Netflix, some I personally own.
1. Hocus Pocus
A staple of Halloween if you grew up on DCOMs. Also bonus: the man who played Billy is a BSU Alum!
2. The Nightmare Before Christmas
The obvious cult favorite. To this day, the Boogies are some of my favorite villains.
3. Edward Scissorhands
Let's just go ahead and have it established that this list will have the best-of-the-best Tim Burton movies. Also, like Winona Ryder AND Johnny Depp? You can't blame me.
4. The Ouija Movies
Ouija and Ouija: Origin of Evil
5. Coraline
6. The Chucky Movies
7. The Scary Movies
8. It Follows
This movie is actually about a killer STD... pardon my pun, if you've seen the movie. It's really good and I think it's super underrated!
9. Nightmare on Elm Street
10. Halloween
One Halloween, my best friend and I were watching this and a guy dressed as Michael Meyers walked down past the window *shudder*
11. The Addams Family
And Addams Family Values, obviously.
12. Lizzie Borden Took An Axe
Because I love me some Christina Ricci.
13. Corpse Bride
14. Sleepy Hollow
All of the Johnny Depp! Yes please!
15. The Babadook
Since his boyfriend, Pennywise, has his remake out, it only makes sense.
16. Hush
If you haven't watched this on Netflix yet, you need to! I've never seen another movie like it!
17. Children of the Corn
18. The VHS Movies
They're a little strange, but definitely good horror movies.
19. Death Note
If you're a fan of the anime, just try to think of it as a separate entity with the Death Note concept because then it's a great movie! As a live-action Death Note, though, it's shit.
20. The Saw Movies
21. Teeth
Males, you may want to avert your eyes for this one.
22. Hellraiser
23. The Blair Witch Project
24. The Paranormal Activity Movies
I saw the first one in theaters in like middle school and was so spooked. I have since made sure I've seen them all for continuity purposes and the last one is a little trippy. They may be kind of a joke but I highly recommend them.
25. The Ward
To this day, this is one of my favorite horror movies because you never see the ending coming.
26. The Rite
If you're a Once Upon a Time fan, you'll recognize the priest-in-training.
And last, but certainly not least:
