25 Times The Office Was Spot On About Life

1. When you frequently speak your mind but many people are offended

2. When the endless amount of homework, errands, chores, prior commitments, etc. finally gets to you but you have something better in mind, because you always have something better in mind

3. When you give up on all parts of your life because functioning as a human has finally gotten too hard

4. When your friends hang out without you ONE TIME

5. And your face exactly when the same friends bring up something embarrassing from your past

6. So then you just think maybe you need some new friends

7. But then you realize you actually have such a strong love for these same friends

8. You when some really cute stranger does a really nice thing for you like holding the door

9. But then you realize someone really cute doing something really nice for you doesn't mean marriage

10. And then you think, "Maybe I'm destined to be alone forever"

11. Your exact response when you come into contact with the most annoying person you have ever met

12. And you when your parents force you to go to a family gathering you really don't care about

13. When you hit rock bottom and you try to convince yourself that you're okay but clearly you're totally not

14. That one time you passed that final with flying colors after suffering a whole semester with an awful professor

15. Every time you order a 10 piece McNugget

16. And you after proving everyone wrong after doing the thing they said you couldn't do

17. When you check your bank account and there's $1.43 to your name

18. And when you try to relate with a group of people about something you have no idea about because you really just want to fit in

19. You after that one time you tried to help your friend with a serious problem and they just shot down your advice

20. You after the single time you ever acted responsibly in a serious situation

21. After the off-chance you do or say something really intellectual, but you actually googled it/heard someone else say it

22. You at 10 a.m., 3 p.m., and 9 p.m. of each day

23. When it comes to work, school, a social life, being normal..

24. You when people post their opposing political views on social media

25. And finally, an accurate representation of your entire life on a daily basis

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
