21 Things I've Learned At 21

1. Always be mindful, peaceful, and patient.

2. Drinks once a week aren't a bad thing with good friends.

3. It doesn't matter how many people you've slept with.

4. Don't let anyone tell you what kind of music you should and shouldn't listen to.

5. Be outside as much as you are inside.

6. If you don't like a situation you have every right to walk away.

7. Don't yell, improve your argument.

8. If you fall down, try again. If you fall again, keep trying. If you break your leg, go to the hospital.

9. Call your mother & father as much as possible. Talk to your siblings. Keep your bonds unbreakable.

10. When it all goes wrong, take a shower, brew some tea, write it all down. Read it later. Overcome it.

11. Jump in that lake at 2am, who cares if your hair is done. Who cares if you don't have dry clothes. Experience life in raw form. The exact way you entered it.

12. Stop regretting what you didn't do and what you never did. Start doing them.

13. Never let go of your dreams, never stop chasing them.

14. Being educated is important. This doesn't necessarily mean that school is.

15. Don't order the salad on a date because you think you should.

16. Read as many books as possible. Save them all on an old bookshelf. Underline every line that makes you feel like author wrote it for you. Look at them when you're having a bad day.

17. Take your rain jacket off in the rain. Feel every rain drop as it's meant to hit you.

18. If you're late, you're late. Don't rush, do everything in a calm and quiet spirit.

19. Don't judge a book by its cover. People will often surprise you if you give them the opportunity to.

20. Don't speak when you're angry, don't decide when you're sad.

21. Whatever you want your world to be, you can make it that way.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
