Everyone has "their" person - a person that is another form of them, but in another body. But for some reason, this person was brought into our lives. Like destiny. Although we may not know right now why this person was brought into our life, we know that the moments shared together will impact us forever.
We consider our best-friend as someone who knows us more than we know ourselves. Our best-friend is always by our side. Always there to make us laugh, cry, and of course, love us unconditionally. With the new year, here is a special tribute to our best-friends. Because I can't wait to share another year with you.
1. Never Ending Conversations
I can't wait for more hour long facetime/phone calls about everything and anything. You are always there to listen to whatever I have to say, and always give the best advice.
2. "Wanna Go for a Ride?"
Whether it is in the afternoon or 3am, you are always in the mood to go for a drive. Even if we have no where we need to go, we will just drive and listen to music. There is no one else I would rather belt an Adele song with other than you.
3. Food
Every time we hangout, we are always eating food. Whether it's going out to a restaurant, or creating our own little cooking show you are my go-to person. Whenever we are upset, we always know how to comfort each other with food.
4. My Partner in Crime
Us two together usually leads to trouble, but we are always there to bail each other out. We have done some crazy stuff together, and are always left saying "I can't believe we just did that."
5. Binge Watch Shows/Movies
We both make sure we are on the same episode, and ONLY watch it together. Even if I am out of town, you always record the newest episode for both of us to watch.
6. Dancing into 2017
Every time our favorite song plays at a party, you are the person I look at. It takes two seconds and we are already dancing, and we could both care less that we are awful dancers. Because we are awful dancers together.
7. Relationship Advice
We always find ourselves asking each other who we are talking to and what's new. You always give your honest opinion, and help make me see things differently. We always tell each other stories, and laugh about them together.
2016 and all of the years prior were amazing with you. i can't imagine what 2017 is going to bring for us. YOU are my person. No matter how far away you may be, or how long it has been since we have seen each other, every time we talk it was like it was just yesterday. You are the person I look forward to seeing. You truly are my best-friend. I cannot wait to see 2017 brings for us, and the insane things we get into.
