Jess is one of the several characters on New Girl that I constantly find myself relating to on the daily. In every episode, she deals with situations in charismatic, awkward and comedic ways that make me think about my interactions with people in my day to day life.

Here are a few moments of Jess embracing who she is and being the goofy bad-ass girl she is in relatable situations, and I can promise you will relate to at least one.

1. When your wardrobe consists of one kind of clothing.

2. If he can't get along with your friends, get rid of him.

3.The awkward moment when you're with a friend but you don't really know what you are to each other and you're just the... "room-friend."


4. When your friend does everything possible to annoy you while you're on a serious rant.

5. When you say or do something stupid and your friends make you feel guilty.

6.When you have those moments of self-doubt and come to terms with the fact that you're going to be alone #5evr.

7. When you realize you did something regrettable and you can't take it back.

8. When you haven't eaten all day and you're just extremely grateful for food.

9. When your best friend knows your entire life story, your love interests, favorite things and manages you on the daily.

10. When a cute guy goes by and you can't help yourself.

11. When you can't contain yourself from thinking about the mysterious secret santa gift you're about to get.

12. When you've experienced horrible service and feel like the world has betrayed you so you take things into your own hands.

13. We all have that one drink that well...

15. When you're on a date and you learn some really weird things and you don't know how to react.

16. When someone judges you for something that is seemingly normal to you that you've been doing your entire life but is flat out weird to them.

17. When you have a secret special hiding spot for your favorite treats and your friends figure out where it is and continue to take/eat them.

18. When you just need a girl's night in to listen to throwbacks and contemplate life.

19. When you and your best friend go outside for the first time after sleeping all day from the long night of partying the night before.

20. But at the end of the day, you rock and you love yourself.
