20 Thoughts We All Have While Registering For Classes

It's that dreadful time of year again known as Fall Registration. This is also known as the most stressful time in a college student's semester. Midterms? Finals?

They are nowhere near as stressful as registering for classes. The only thing almost as stressful is finding housing. The fate of your semester lies within how fast you can type and say a prayer that not to many students are taking the same classes as you.

Registration can make or break your semester. So while you sit there waiting for the clock to strike 7:01 a million thoughts run through your head.

1. It’s too early for this crap

2. Ahh the light hurts my eyes

3. What if I just sleep through it?

4. My beauty sleep is more important than graduating, right?

5. I’m not going to get into any of my classes

6. I should just drop out

7. What do you mean there are only two spots left!?

8. Welp, I needed that class to graduate, oh well

9. Please no 8 a.m or Friday classes

10. A three hour class on a Thursday night? No thanks!

11. What if my laptop dies? It won’t it’s at 100 percent. Hmm…better plug it in just in case.

12. This is like the Hunger Games

13. I would totally be the first one dead.

14. Is it 7:01 yet?

15. 7:01 is such a random time, what’s wrong with 7:00?

16. So basically, my semester’s fate lies in whether I can type the codes faster than everyone else?

17. I should have practiced my typing.

18. I’m tired and hungry.

19. Can I go back to bed yet?

20. It's time!

May the odds be ever in your favor.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
