Thinking about college is so exciting that I can hardly contain myself. I was the girl who was researching where I wanted to go as soon as I hit middle school, so this has been a long time coming for me. However, this isn't to say that I have some worried thoughts because I am a normal human being. When it comes to college, my brain has two thought processes. Exciting as hell, and scary as shit. I'm sure a lot of us girls are in the same boat with many of these ideas.

Keep in mind, when many people stress, they can become irrational. All of us have those stupid worries that love to eat at our brain, but they are still worth mentioning, and sometimes funny as hell. Drum roll please:

1. FREEDOM!

Thank god we have some freedom. It's about time. Am I right, or am I right?

2. I have to do my own laundry?

Yeah. Scary thought, right? If you don't already know how I would get to learning immediately.

3. My dorm is about to be the best on campus.

Dorm shopping has to be the most exciting part of the summer before college. The anticipation of actually putting it all together is killing me.

4. Wow, I practically had to sell my soul for textbooks.

So. Much. Money.

5. Is it going to be hard to find friends?

Maybe I'll just buy ANOTHER textbook about it.

6. On the other hand, thank god I get to meet new people.

I graduated with a class of sixty kids that I've known since kindergarten. Needless to say, I'm ready.

7. How much harder can it be than high school?

This is one of those things that I ask myself when I'm trying to keep a positive mindset, while secretly dying inside.

8. Omg, I can't wait to take so many cute pictures with my roomie and my friends.

As shallow as it sounds, we all think this.

9. What if I get the shits?

Literally.

10. What if I get sick?

Well, this is bound to happen since everyone is in such a small space. I guess we'll have to manage on our own instead of making our mom prepare soup for us.

11. Bring on the hotties.

BIG college stereotype. But come on, we've all thought about it and we know we're going to find someone to drool over on the first night.

12. Is sharing the showers going to be weird?

Just because I highly doubt my showering experience is going to be anything like the ones the guys who played football had at my school. Showers and bonding are not about to mix in my mind.

13. Also, how do I make it down the hall as fast as possible so no one sees me looking ratchet after I shower?

What's the quickest route back to my dorm?

14. Hooray for not being in class from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. every single day.

Admit it, that part of high school really sucked.

15. I get to party with my best friends all the time.

There will be no more settling for someone who has a car, or someone who is just an acquaintance. All your best friends are right at your fingertips.

16. How many all nighters am I really gonna need to pull?

17. And afterwards, how hard is it going to be to go to my early morning class?

Probably impossible.

18. Is everyone going to be drunk all the time?

Some people will definitely try to take full advantage of that.

19. It's finally freaking here!!!!!!!!!!

Thank god because I don't think I could've waited any longer.

Like I said earlier, this has been a long time coming for me. I can't believe its finally here. Even though I'm an over thinker and take full advantage of stressing out to the max, I know that it's going to be the best time of my life. I can't wait.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
