I would just like to say that every year there are a ton of movies that I really want to see in theatres enough where I will spend the $14 for a ticket and there are always those movies where I can just wait until they go online to streaming services or I can get them at a Redbox. And for some reason all the trailers I have seen that is coming out later this year or have already come out this year are amazing. I honestly will spend as much money as needed to see these films as they were meant to be seen. I mean come on, we have really good romantic comedies to amazingly thought out independent films as well as solid action and dramatic movies! I am so hype if you couldn't tell already.
1. "Black Panther"
Of course, my number one movie that I am excited to see in 2018 is the Black Panther. I mean honestly, this is a movie that is going to be amazing and it is a POC heavy film. TALK ABOUT REPRESENTATION PEOPLE!!!!
2. "Proud Mary"
I mean Taraji P. Henson as an assassin... you had me at the mere mention of the concept. I'm ready for this film.
3. "The Incredibles 2"
I have waited about 12 years for this and I will be damned if I let a small child get in my way of seeing this film. This sequel is my generation's movie, not the younger one.
4. "A Wrinkle In Time"
I might cry just thinking about this film and the beautiful novel it is based on.
5. "Fifty Shades Freed"
Don't get me wrong the books that these movies are based on are terrible but... the movies are great and I have become so invested so I need to see the climax (haha get it? It is the tagline of the film lol)
6. "Deadpool 2"
Two words: f*ck yeah!
7. "Ocean's 8"
I don't care about any of the small-minded and tiny ego men who say this is ruining the Ocean's 11 "series". This film needs to happen and I will be their first thing to see it.
8. "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again"
A sequel but also a prequel that I am here for. It is still unsure how big of a roll Meryl Streep will play in this second film but I'll still see it no matter what.
9. "Pacific Rim Uprising"
10. "12 Strong"
This looks like it'll be so good!
11. "The Maze Runner: Death Cure"
12. "Aquaman"
Jason Momoa is one FINE specimen!
13. "The Commuter"
14. "Winchester"
The fact that this is based on true events and real people both freaks me out and excites me.
15. "Red Sparrow"
I mean don't get me wrong I think JLaw is a great actress and all but I mean not 100% excited about this film. I just think the concept is cool. This is still a movie I would wait to see until it started showing on TV.
