I'm not saying I don't love some wine or a vodka redbull, but....

I don't know about you— but when it comes to people's "go-to" drink I think it says a lot about them. You know? You just get a better sense of their personality. Each type of alcohol comes with its own stereotype, some being more accurate than others. Some people are about rum and coke, some people are about jaëger bombs. Some people are about whiskey or wine. Some people are just total beer snobs.

But for me, well, I'm all about tequila. I don't even use salt or lime. In my semi-biased (but not so biased opinion), only true badass weekend warriors can handle tequila. They're likely super confident and attractive, too.

When I tell people this or when they ask what kind of shot I want— they usually do a very brief stare down, internally judge whether it be positive or negative, then proceed. Tequila is obviously notoriously known for either wild or brutal nights, and if you're an unlucky human— regrets. But nope, not me. I've never had a bad night influenced by tequila.

Here are 17 things all tequila lovers know to be true:

1. Your non-tequila friends are always hesitant taking shots with you, but you convince them anyway.

2. Seeing people take shots of tequila gives you an ultimate "proud parent" moment.

3. After telling non-tequila lovers you love it, they always say the same confusing thing.

4. You're all about "the more, the better."

5. You either impress people with how you can take it...

6. .... or frighten some with how you can take it.

7. When people try to get you to drink something other than tequila you're immediate response is:

8. Rough day?

9. Amazing day?

10. Your friends have countless epic memories and stories of you, but none compare to your full-on tequila nights.

11. No nights are bad nights, but sometimes your honesty is unleashed in a more sudden way... but rarely, barely, kind of.

12. Sometimes you lead the pack on a night out, but your drunk is much better than theirs. And more fun.

13. People ALWAYS question your intoxication level since you "down" it.

14. Tequila will have your loyalty, always and forever.

15. You help promote the theory of how "tequila is good for you" each time you see those articles online.

16. After reading this, you're probably craving a margarita and/or already texted your friends saying it's time for shots.

17. You just know and are so proud of the fact you're the baddest in the game.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
