A lot of crazy stuff happened in the 1960s. Wars that should not have been, the assassination of major political figures, the fight for civil rights, and the Cuban missile crisis that could have started WWIII were just a few of the crazy happenings back then.

To say the least, it was a pretty conflicted decade.

But there were some positive notes. The 60s paved way for some of the most iconic muscle cars with the Mustang, Baracuda, Charger, and Camero hitting the road in those years. It’s when the hippy movement really took hold and spread across the world. And, of course, there is the great music we got from those years.

When I should have been studying during finals week, I instead alternated between doing nothing and compiling a list of old songs that I couldn’t get enough of.
