It’s officially the season of frantically checking your weather app every day in hopes of seeing warm, sunny weather headed your way. You’ve been listening to the same acoustic winter playlist for months, and it’s time to roll out the happy tunes. Here are 15 songs that can hopefully speed up the process and make it feel like spring just might be approaching.

1. "Waking Up Again" by Emily Hearn

Every time I listen to this song, it instantly reminds of spring. Hearn sings of warm weather and how everything seems to be reborn after the colder months.

2. "Where The Skies Are Blue" by The Lumineers

The Lumineers is one of my favorite bands and this song in particular never fails to put me in a good mood. It's a sweet, simple song made for warm and lazy Sundays.

3. "Little Of Your Love" by HAIM

Whenever I listen to any HAIM song, I think of their iconic dancing videos and it just makes listening to them way more fun.

4. "Shiver Shiver" by Walk The Moon

It is entirely impossible to hear this song and not bop your head up and down at least a few times. This is a classic Walk The Moon song, and it screams sunshine and smiles.

5. "Real Sympathy" by The Gromble

"Real Sympathy" is a synthy song that just reminds me of the beach and driving with the windows down.

6. "Shake" by The Essentialists

The Essentialists is one of those feel-good bands for which you're always in the mood. It's basic indie, but oh-so-good, nonetheless.

7. "Glitter" by Tyler, The Creator

Everything about this song is happy, so go ahead and feel happy.

8. "São Palo" by Vincent Mango

The little guitar solos all throughout this song make it incredibly fun for dancing! Also, São Paulo is warm and sunny all year round, so keep that in mind and it's almost as if you're there...kind of.

9. "QB Sneak" by Active Bird Community

Despite the hint of cynicism in the lyrics, it's a great jam and makes you want to shout each and every word.

10. "Everybody Lost Somebody" by Bleachers

Jack Antonoff, the frontman of Bleachers, is known to utilize the sound of 80s pop in his music, but in a really modern way. This song features a chorus and saxophone melodies. Who doesn't love some saxophone?

11. "Dive" by Coast Modern

Coast Modern is a band that embodies happiness. Their music is quirky and this song makes you wish for sun 24/7.

12. "Blood Honey" by Soccer Mommy

"Blood Honey" is a very simple song, but the constant guitar riff in the back is lively and light.

13. "Who Do You Think You Are" by Angus & Julia Stone

Angus & Julia Stone are widely known for their song "Big Jet Plane," which is probably somewhere on your winter playlist. However, their most recent album is filled with warm sounds and good energy, making it hard to listen to without smiling. This song, in particular, brings you back to warmer months and blooming flowers.

14. "Butch" by Saint Motel

I can guarantee that I have never listened to this song without dancing and neither have my friends, so see for yourself! It's one of the most upbeat songs ever written.

15. "No Matter Where We Go" by Whitney

If you haven't listened to or heard of Whitney yet, then you need to as soon as possible. I love this song specifically because it makes me feel ready for warmth, sun and friends.

Who knows, maybe if you listen to these songs enough you'll see a little bit of sunshine begin to peek through!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
