Everyone knows that Dog is man's best friend, but the connection between owner and pet goes so much deeper than that.
1. You will feel needed at all times.
A dog literally depends on you for everything that they need. You are the one that feeds them, waters them, and lets them outside.
2. A dog's love is unconditional.
The saying, "No matter how many times you kick a dog, it'll always come back", is extremely true. Dogs are very forgiving creatures. ( Don't ever kick your dog, that's just rude.)
3. You will always have a cuddle buddy.
I don't know who is more excited to get into bed, my dogs or me.
4. A dog will never leave you.
They can't leave you unless you let them go, so you'll never be lonely.
5. You'll always have someone to share your food with.
This isn't always a good thing, but it's nice to always have the option to share.
6. They can guide you through life.
Some people require service dogs. Those people have to trust dogs with their life. For example, dogs can be trained to help blind people cross the road, they can be trained as far as what to do when their master is having a seizure or any other life threatening thing.
7. Dog hair goes with every outfit!
Whether you like it or not, you might as well get used to wearing it with everything, make it a fashion statement!
8. They know when you aren't feeling good.
My dog won't leave my side when I'm sick. They show you a little extra affection when you're down.
9. They will clean up any food that you drop.
It's like having a vacuum that you don't have to plug in!
10. They go to the bathroom outside.
(Most of the time.) No cleaning out a litter-box with doggies!
11. They keep you in shape by wanting to go on walks all the time.
You have a live-in motivator.
12. You will be greeted anxiously every time you walk through the door.
Who doesn't love a warm (and slobbery) welcome every time you come home?
13. They can keep you warm on cold nights.
Who needs a heated blanket when you have the real thing?
14. They are great alarm systems.
I get to know every time a squirrel comes within a mile of my house!
15. They are great judges of character.
Dogs know what someone is about way before you do.
