Now matter what kind of mood you're in, watching a good movie is never a poor decision. There are many different reasons why movies are so entertaining. Some would say that it's because movies can transport us to worlds we've never known. Others would argue that it's because movies can teach us how to go through some of life's greatest hardships, while still remaining positive. Movies give us hope and show us how to never lose faith. In my opinion, the reason why movies are so popular is because of one simple reason. They truly inspire us. The best movies are the ones that help us see a weakness in ourselves, and then show us how to fix it. They make us better people, while also making us laugh.

Here are 20 of the best movie quotes that we should all strive to live by.

1. "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it" -Ferris Bueller's Day Off
2. "Our lives are defined by opportunities, even the ones we miss" -The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
3. “Don’t ever let somebody tell you you can’t do something, not even me. Alright? You dream, you gotta protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can’t do it. If you want something, go get it. Period.” -The Pursuit of Happiness
4. "Some people can't believe in themselves until someone else believes in them first" -Good Will .
5. "”Nobody is gonna hit as hard as life, but it ain’t how hard you can hit. It’s how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. It’s how much you can take, and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done.” -Rocky Balboa
6. “It is not our abilities that show what we truly are. It is our choices.” -Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
7. "You can’t live your life for other people. You’ve got to do what’s right for you, even if it hurts some people you love" – The Notebook
8. “To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, to draw closer, to find each other and to feel. That is the purpose of life.” – The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

10. "Just keep swimming" -Finding Nemo
11. "Be not afraid of greatness, some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them" -She's the Man (technically, this quote is from a Shakespeare play, but we all know it was Amanda Bynes who made it famous)
12. "If you love someone... you say it, right then, out loud. Otherwise... the moment just passes you by." – My Best Friend's Wedding
13. "All that is gold does not glitter. Not all those who wander are lost." – The Lord of the Rings 14. "Danger is the spice of life and you've got to take a risk now and then...that's what makes life worthwhile" -The World's Fastest Indian

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
