Guys, I am not super sure if you all know my pal, John, he has written a couple songs and released his EP. He is too shy to post in the Belmont Facebook group, but I would really love it if you gave him a listen and I know he would appreciate it!!

But for real, John Mayer is an angel and his songs saved me. So, in case you also are falling apart, do not fret because he has felt every emotion 'Inside Out' has to offer and I am going to share some of the ones that caught me.

1. "Heart of Life"

One of his more "glass half full" bops where life happens but there will always be LOVE and GOODNESS. Kind of a feel gooder.

2. "In the Blood"

Frick, John just really knows what he wants and the kind of love he needs to feel, but something keeps stopping him that is "in his blood". Maybe it can wash out and maybe it is forever — but I think sometimes we all reevaluate ourselves and at times feel like something in our DNA is not allowing us to obtain love.

3. "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room"

Okay, perhaps a break up song (and john has lots of these if you need one). The whole idea of having continuous struggles in your relationship and basically accepting that it is coming to an end. It literally has all emotions from anger to utter sadness.

4. "Dear Marie"

An ode to the one that got away. Obviously John is very successful but still has nostalgia for the people he may have left to get here. I don't know guys, this one just is sweet, yet also makes you question if you let someone go you shouldn't have.

5. "The Age of Worry"

WOW. WOW. WOW. JUST LIVE YOUR LIFE. DO NOT GET TORN DOWN BY STRESS BY FREAKING SMILE IN THE AGE OF WORRY. JOHN SAYS LET YOUR HAIR DOWN AND SEND WORRY OUTTA HERE.

6. "In Your Atmosphere"

A pure heartbreaker. For the times when memories of you and your last bae are so crisp and you want to feel them all, but it just ends in heartbreak for you to keep reliving them. Not to mention any glimpse of them makes you feel like you left Earth's atmosphere and are now burnt to a crisp like Spongebob in Sandy's tank with no water.

7. "Gravity"

When life is just kicking you a little extra harder than you have been used to and you begin to question why it is doing that. Also the line, "keep me where the light is" — you are lying if that doesn't give you chills.

8. "Wildfire"

A BOP AND A HALF. Just a song for a good time with good feels and sweet lyrics. Honestly, it is one of his happiest tunes.

9. "My Stupid Mouth"

How many times have I said something dumb? The limit does not exist.

I LOVE THIS SONG because it portrays so many aspects of the awkward moments after you say something stupid, and how you just cannot shut up even after you know you should when he goes "One more thing". Wow what a man.

10. "Stop This Train"

As Ferris Bueller would say — "Life moves pretty fast if you don't stop and look around once in a while you might miss it". But honestly, everyone wants to slow down and just take a breather for a hot second, especially when it feels like life is a train and you are in a silent black and white film ready to get trampled.

11. "Never on the Day You Leave"

Sad. That is all I got. This song is for all the feels of regret you did not know you would have the day you broke up with someone or lost someone you loved, but ALSO the hope of getting them back one day because you know your heart is still in it.

"To watch a girl become a ghost before your eyes" — like you are kidding.

12. "Say"

SPEAK YOUR MIND AND YOU'LL BE HEARD DON'T STICK TO THE STATUS QUO!

13. "Waiting on the World to Change"

For whenever you have the feeling you need to change something in the world YOU GOTTA WORK TO DO IT. There are so many times I say, "wow this should probably be better" but that does nothing unless we all do something about what we believe in. Just saying.

14. "Who Says"

The rebellious stage, just a claim of independence and defiance that an angsty college teen loves.

15. "Daughters"

Just a really sweet song where John basically begs fathers to do their "job" and just love their daughters with everything and anything, because in the end if children do not receive love from their parents initially, it is going to be so hard for them to process love later.

So here you go — please accept John in your times of need he is a great pal to have.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
