Everyone knows you need at least three halloween costumes because its not Halloween anymore, its Halloweekend.

Please, for the love of god, don’t throw on cat ears and call it a costume. At least be original and do literally any other animal. So before you panic when you realize the invite you got was to a costume party, here’s a list of some last minute ideas.

Most of which, you definitely have the supplies for lying around your house. *Disclaimer* they may not be intricate enough for real Halloween (if you like being extra on the best holiday of the year) but they're perfect for the Halloween themed party you got invited to on Halloween eve eve eve.

1. Convict:

what you need: paper, marker, striped shirt, beanie, black bottoms

2. Tourist:

what you need: Hawaiian shirt, disposable camera, hat (preferably a visor or safari style hat), running shows, bonus points: fanny pack

3. Dust Bunny:

what you need: bunny ears, swiffer duster

4. Scarecrow:

what you need: face paint, overalls (or ripped jeans), face paint, plaid shirt, floppy hat (**bonus points if incorporate hay**)

5. Wednesday Addams:

what you need: black dress, braiding skillzzz, white collared shirt, black knee high socks (boots work too!) bonus points for bringing the rest (or some) of the Addams crew with you!!

6. Tina Belcher from Bob's Burgers:

what you need: Light blue shirt, dark blue skirt, black sneakers, white crew socks, glasses, a love for butts (p.s. this is another one you can turn into a group costume, be the whole Belcher Clan!!)

7. Sandy from Grease (post makeover):

what you need: leather pants, leather jacket, red heels, black off the shoulder top, some serious curls

8. Rosie the Riveter:

what you need: Jean shirt, jeans, red bandana, and an updo

9. Mime

what you need: black and white striped shirt, white and black face paint, white gloves


10. Damien from Mean Girls:

what you need: blue hoodie, sunglasses, a "she doesn't even go here" attitude

11. Giraffe:

what you need: two pony tail holders to put two buns on your head, face paint, brown shirt (added creativity: throw on a party hat to be a "Party Animal")


12. Three Blind Mice:

what you need: Mouse ears, walking stick, sun glasses, oh yeah, and two friend

13. Eleven from Stranger Things:

what you need: Pink dress, blue hoodie, white crew socks, white sneakers (box of eggos, awesome, but optional)

14. Audrey Hepburn, The Breakfast at Tiffany's one):

what you need: Black dress, pearls, long black gloves, updo (bonus for carrying around a Tiffany's shopping bag)

15. "Walk of Shame":

what you need: boxers, messy hair, big t-shirt, sneakers, a nice necklace, regret and of course, shame

These are just a few, cheap, last minute costume idea... Happy Haunting :)
