Here you are. Sitting in class, ready to learn. You have your full attention to the front of the room. OK, maybe not full attention. Maybe your attention is focused on the conversation you’re having on your phone. ANYWAYS, you’re feeling super focused because you’ve had a great morning so far. You managed to wake up early enough to take a shower, get ready, and even get yourself a coffee before you had to go to class. Nothing can bring you down.
But then, the inevitable happens. The coffee you drank is taking its course, and the time has come: you have to pee. This always happens, and when it does, there are a ton of thoughts that run through your mind.
1. "Oh no."
Let’s face it, it’s a hassle to go to the bathroom during class. I mean, yeah, it’s college and you have free will to leave the room as you please, but still, it’s a hassle.
2. "To pee or not to pee."
...That is the question.
3. "I got this. I'll just hold it."
We all think we are superhuman when it comes to holding our bladders. Let’s face it, we’re not.
4. "What time even is it, right now?"
Does the clock in this room even work??
5. "OK, it's 11:15AM. I can hold it for another 35 minutes. No big deal."
6. "Wait... only 5 minutes have gone by?!"
7. "I might pee my pants. I am going to pee my pants.
8. “Maybe I should just get up and go.”
9. “If I’m gone too long everyone is gonna think I’m pooping.”
10. “There are only 9 minutes left, I can hold it.”
11. “I can do this.”
12. "Holy crap. I might actually pee my pants."
… When class finally ends
13. “I made it!”
And the inevitable…
