I can definitely testify that I am the type of person to love Halloween year round. Here's why you should too.

1. The Corpse Bride.

This movie is timeless. I mean, who wouldn't watch yet another Tim Burton movie about Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter?

2. Halloweentown.

Lie to me and tell me you didn't look forward to watching this on Disney Channel every October. Go ahead. Try.

3. R. L. Stine's The Haunting Hour.

You know the movie with Emily Osment and the black wig and the book you weren't supposed to read aloud but they did anyway? On Cartoon Network? Yeah, that's the one. You lived for it, don't act like you didn't.

4. The Addam's Family.

I don't know about you, but Wednesday's character really resonated with me.

5. Halloweentown High.

This one was my personal favorite.

6. Mom's Got A Date With A Vampire.

An oldie but still a goodie.

7. The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.

This show aired all year long. Even better when everyday is Halloween!

8. Scary Godmother Halloween Spooktacular.

Yet another oldie but goodie.

9. Scooby Doo.

Any Scooby Doo movie or show makes me wish it was October.

10. Any Disney Channel Themed Episode.

Whether it's Suite Life of Zack and Cody, That's So Raven,Phil of the Future, or Hannah Montana... you know you got excited when you saw the previews for it.

11. Monster House.

The animation was sooo good on this one.

12. Casper the Friendly Ghost.

He's just... he's so friendly. And cute.

13. Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Honestly, a masterpiece.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
