There comes a time in every sports team's life where it seems as though the world is crumbling right from under their feet. Some call it the "rebuild, where a team takes virtually nothing and turns it into something. Here are twelve things I want to tell my really bad professional sports team.

1. "It Will Get Better"

I know the future doesn't look bright now, but it will get better.

2. "You're Not The Only One"

While there is only room for one team in dead last, there are roughly ten other teams doing badly as well. They're just doing bad a little better than you are.

3. "Your Fans Aren't Going Anywhere"

At least not the real fans...

4. "It Happens To Every Professional Sports Team"

As mentioned in the introduction of this article, rebuilds are inevitable in sports. Every team goes through a few of them in a team's life, it's not just you.

5. "Have Patience"

Turning a team around from the bottom to the top doesn't happen overnight, just be patient.

6. "It's Okay To Be Frustrated But Don't Give Up"

You're allowed to be mad, you're allowed to throw things out of anger, just don't give up and continue to look for the positives in every situation.

7. "No One Is Judging You"

While it is just as hard for sports fans to watch their team unable to find the right momentum, we understand, or at least most of us do and let me tell you, we are not judging you.

8. "Keep Smiling"

While the hurt of not being the best may sting, keep on smiling because, from a fan's perspective, we'd rather see a happy team who has accepted their fate, than one who is down in the dumps about it all of the time.

9. "Keep On Keeping On"

What I meanly this keeps playing with your heart, don't give up just because the stats and standings show something you don't want to see. After all, practice does make perfect.

10. "Just Because You're At The Bottom Of The Dog Pile, Doesn't Mean You're Bad"

I guess sometimes it does, but most of the time you have just failed to find good chemistry.

11. "You Can't Blame Any Single Person"

In any sport, where you stand in the standings is a team effort. You can not place blame on any one man unless it's your GM, then maybe you can.

12. "I Still Love You"

My dedication to you is like a marriage, for better or for worse.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
