Let's face it, the kid inside of us goes wild at the mention of Disney and sometimes, there's no better way of making our love for Disney stronger than a good evening of staying indoors or boarding a plane, car, etc. to watch some Disney movies. Now, we've all seen the typical classics such as Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Toy Story, The Lion King, and even the new ones such as the very popular Frozen and most recently, Moana. We know the songs by heart, we know the storylines, we cry on cue to the sad parts, but this summer, it's time to change it up! Why not go back into the vault of Disney and pull out some underrated ones? The ones we've never seen before but we've heard so much about? Well, this list is just for you all for your binging and traveling needs. So get that popcorn ready or your traveling snacks and kick back, relax and enjoy a whole new world of Disney that you may have not experienced yet.

1. The Hunchback of Notre Dame, 1996

I would most definitely consider this movie one of the most underrated Disney movies of the 90s. Especially because of the fact that its predecessors had been blockbuster hits such as Pocahontas and The Lion King and would then be overshadowed by Hercules and Mulan. Sure, we all know who Esmeralda is, but, do we know the story of Quasimodo?

2. The Aristocats, 1970

Many people have seen the infamous "Ladies do not start fights, but they can finish

them," line said by the feisty little Marie or have seen the cute little kitten frequently marketed at Disney stores, but there is a high chance that a lot of people haven't seen the movie she and her siblings, Toulouse and Berlioz, co-star in. This "funkadelic" and upbeat movie focuses on the importance of family always sticking together through the hardships of life.

3. The Rescuers, 1977

Another Disney Dark Age Classic, this is probably the movie you learned about when talking about subliminal messages after controversy sparked after a few spectators noticed a topless woman that sent parents into a frenzy. Of course, this movie is much more than that as it sparked the area of mice as protagonists, such as fellow movie, The Great Mouse Detective.

4. The Great Mouse Detective, 1986

For Sherlock Holmes' fans, this movie is for you. This formerly underrated film has gained some popularity due to the rise of Sherlock Holmes fanatics after the famous BBC series aired. It's a movie with a lot of twists and turns and a few laughs here and there that is very reminiscent to the Sherlock show.

5. The Sword in the Stone, 1963

If the Merlin series or new King Arthur movie just isn't your style, but you're a fanatic of the King Arthur story, this may be the movie for you. While this movie doesn't exactly follow the entire story of a young Arthur, it does have a different twist that sets it apart from all the others.

6. Oliver & Company, 1988

The final movie of the Disney Dark Age, it is surprisingly underrated even though the movie is voiced by legends of the 80s and early 90s such as Billy Joel, Bette Midler and Cheech Marin. This twist on the original story of Oliver Twist adds an vivid and colorful world to a little orange tabby kitten trying to find where he belongs.

7. The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning, 2008

For those who have loved The Little Mermaid since the first film, but weren't too thrilled by the sequel, the prequel movie is just for you. While some of the plot diverts from

the original movie and the prequel series from 1992, we finally get to meet Ariel's sisters and understand all seven of King Triton's daughters from and up close and personal standpoint.

8. Fantasia 2000, 1999

This incredible film focuses on something that Disney is known very much for: its music and its animation. Some of you may even recognize the very famous image of Mickey wearing his blue moon and stars wizard hat.

9. The Country Bears, 2002

I assure you, you definitely did not dream about Disney once making a movie about singing and talking bears. In fact, for some of you that have been to Disneyworld, may have seen the attraction, but don't know from what movie it was from. This hilarious film about a team of bears getting the band back together is definitely one to watch, especially if you're planning to visit that attraction.

10. The Black Cauldron, 1985

Last but not least, this film features one of Disney's second forgotten princess, Eilonwy. I don't recommend letting your younger siblings or children watch this movie late at night as it is one of Disney's darker movies. Nonetheless, the story behind it based off of the Welsh story of the Chronicles of Prydain makes it an even more interesting movie to want to watch.

11 Atlantis: The Lost Empire, 2001

This Disney film is more unique in which it doesn't have much singing at all and focuses more on the storyline. It's a movie that was the first to spark CGI before its successor Lilo and Stitch and has another forgotten princess, Kida. If you're into history and archaeology, this is definitely the movie for you.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
