Dogs are the greatest relationship in life. I especially, am obsessed with my dogs but any dog owner will agree they bring so much happiness into our lives. While letting them go as they get older is one of the hardest things to do, the years before are the most incredible and the best experience of life. I was once told that dogs live shorter lives because they are only here to love. They already know how to love whereas people have to learn to love. So, they share their love with us for a shorter amount of time and help us to grow along the way. Here are 11 reasons why we don't deserve dogs:

1. They love us unconditionally.

Dogs attach themselves to their owners in a way that we will never understand. Their love for us is unconditional, meaning they express their love in every way they can at any possible time.

2. They brighten even the happiest of days.

There has never been a time when I come home and not happily greeted by my dogs. Even if I just won a thousand bucks and thought there was no way a day could get any better, coming home to my dogs faces brightens it in more ways than one.

3. They never let you down.

Dog try their best to make us proud, if you haven't noticed. They need our approval for everything and it makes them so happy to know when we are proud of them.

4. Dogs don't contain heir emotions.

A dog's tail never lies. Some people contian their emotions, whereas, a dog will give you signs that express exactly how their feeling all the time. That's so special because they're not afraid to let us know how they're feeling. Honestly, people have a lot to learn from dogs.

5. They make us laugh.

We can always get a giggle from the chewed up shoes, random runs around the house, weird smiling snouts, howling, doggy farts, weird noises, and excessive licking. I mean the list can go on and on.

6. They get excited over the simplest things.

Walking outside, to us, is just a daily activity, but you say the word "walk" to a dog and it's like they just won a trip around the world. If only people got excited and appreciated small things like that.

7. They are our best protector.

Even the smallest dogs will act like the biggest in times they feel like they need to protect us. Their immense amount of love for us puts them in protector mode and I wouldn't have it any other way. They've always got our backs.

8. They're always there for you.

There have been plenty of days where I wanted to curl up in a ball and cry over the day, but my dog has always been there. To some it may seem weird, but to us dog lovers, it's not. Even just their presence helps cope with negative things going on in life because dogs are the epitome of positivity and love.

9.They're always down to cuddle.

Because who doesn't want to cuddle with a big mushy puppy.

10. They love to eat as much as i do.

I'm not gonna lie, whenever I heat up food I always heat up a little extra because I know I'll give my pup a few bites.

11. They are your best friend.

The relationship is never a one way streak. It is a life long friendship even past their living years.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
