11 Reasons To Thank My Brother

Since it was national sibling day, I'm feeling a rare period of affection for my little brother. No matter how much he annoys me, I'll always be grateful for him being in my life. There are a few things I'd like to thank him for.

1. Thanks for always sharing your food with me or even remembering to save some for me when I’m not there.

2. Thanks for always hiding behind random doors and inside rooms in our house to try to scare me. It always keeps me on my toes.

3. Thanks for always making dumb jokes that make mine look better in comparison.

4. Thanks for looking for food samples with me when we’re at Costco.

5. Thanks for letting me bother you and your friends whenever I’m home, even though I’m sure I end up embarrassing you.

6. Thanks for posing for pictures with me after much coercion, even though you hate it.

7. Thanks for watching children’s cartoons with me, even though we’re way too old for them.

8. Thanks for letting me help you with your homework, even when I'm annoying about it.

9. Thanks for getting into fights with me when we were younger. I would get so angry at you, but I’ve learned to deal with difficult people.

10. Thanks for teaching me how to be responsible for another person.

11. Thanks for caring, even when you like to pretend you don’t.

I may not act always act like it, but I do love my brother deep down. Appreciate your siblings because you're basically stuck together at this point!

Bruce Springsteen's Top 7 Lyrics

Everything Bruce says in his classic rock songs.

bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

Marconi Beach

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania.
