It's a constant fall debate - apple or pumpkin? Apple will clearly always be the best, and here are a few reasons why.

1. First of all, apple cider exists

Whether it's hot or cold, cider is literally the best beverage to grace this Earth.

2. You can get it fresh at a cider mill

Honestly, who doesn't love going to a cider mill on a chilly October day? Those days are only made better by the homemade apple cider and donuts.

3. It goes better with donuts

Try to tell me a cinnamon sugar tastes just as good without a glass of apple cider. It's just not possible.

4. You can eat just an apple

Have you ever tried eating a pumpkin? I'm sure you haven't. An apple, on the other hand, tastes just fine without any of the seasonal additions like caramel or cinnamon. However, those things do add to the fun - especially during this time of year!

5. It's healthier

I know I'm not the only one who's been thinking about eating better given the approaching holidays. Apples are obviously a fruit, and they're full of all sorts of antioxidants and fiber.

6. You can make so many things!

Apple pie, caramel apples, and so much more!

7. Like apple chips

An easy, healthy option if you're bored of eating an entire apple

8. Or apple butter

Possibly the best thing to ever put on toast

9. Or even a mini pie using the entire apple

This one works whether you're looking to cut back on carbs or just too busy to cut up an entire apple

10. Of course, apple pie will always be a classic

Who can turn down a slice of apple pie?

11. Apple smells AND tastes better

Apple will always be superior to pumpkin in every way.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
