Who doesn't love a little song and dance? Movie musicals have all the glitz, glam and Hollywood magic you could possibly want. From the huge dance numbers tot the catchy soundtracks to the dazzling costumes, musicals captured through film are fantastic. And here are some of the best:

1. Moulin Rouge

Baz Luhrmann is known for his creative and unique style of filming, with movies such as Romeo + Juliet and The Great Gatsby, so it's no surprise that Moulin Rouge is anything different. With a mind-blowing cast led by Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman and surprising covers of some classic songs, this movie is a must!

2. The Sound of Music

As one of the most famous movie musicals ever, The Sound of Music, will pull on your heart strings and convince you that Julie Andrews is actually perfect, if you didn't think so already. And if you didn't think that, what is wrong with you?

3. Mamma Mia

Ok, this one is a little cheesy, but it's so heartwarming! The cast is stellar. Plus it has the queen Meryl Streep.

4. Dreamgirls

Beyonce. Jennifer Hudson. Jaime Foxx. Do I need to go on? This killer cast provides excellent performances and vocals throughout. Beyonce's "Listen" will bring tears to your eyes, while Jennifer Hudson's "And I'm Telling You" automatically gives you goosebumps like you've never had before.

5. Beauty and the Beast

This live-action version of the classic animated film is perfection. Don't even argue with me on this. The sets are perfect. The songs are perfect. The costumes are perfect. EVERYTHING IS PERFECT! If you don't believe me ask the dishes, or just listen to "Evermore." That will convince you.

6. Singin' in the Rain

This is such a classic, and for good reason. With some of the greatest icons of Hollywood, aka Debbie Reynolds, and larger than life songs, Singin' in the Rain is a must for a movie-musical marathon.

7. Funny Girl

Barbara Streisand. Do I even need to say more? Nobody is going to rain on her parade.

8. Grease

Tell me more, tell me more about how great this movie is. If you don't love Grease do you even have a heart? This movie is a staple, and for good reason!

9. My Fair Lady

This one may be old, but it's a classic for a reason. With timeless songs and characters, you will be dancing around your house all night with a smile from ear to ear.

10. Chicago

Chicago is one of the absolute best stage-to-screen adaptations out there. It flawlessly transitions show-stopping numbers, such as "All that Jazz" and "The Cell Block Tango" to the screen, all while still conveying that unique, theater quality on the big screen.

11. The Greatest Showman

Now I know what you're thinking, this movie has not even come out yet. Yes, I am aware that this does not come out until December. However, if you're anything like me and watched the trailer more times than you would like to admit, this movie-musical looks like it is going to be great! With a phenomenal cast made up of Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Zendaya and more, and music composed by the geniuses behind La La Land and the hit-musical "Dear Evan Hansen," this will not disappoint!

There are so many different movie-musicals out there for you to explore. So bring a little music into your life and watch one today!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
