Communication is one of the most important factors in building human relationships. Whenever you meet new people from different backgrounds, it is nice to show them that you took the little effort to learn about their language. Scientifically, it is always beneficial to know more than one language because learning a new language not only increases the neural connections in your brain but also it also develops better memory skills. Plus, new languages are always useful when you are traveling to another country or in a job settling when you’re interacting with people from different cultures.

Here is the list of important phrases around the globe:

1. Hello, how are you?

Spanish: Hola, ¿Cómo estás?

French: Salut, comment allez-vous?

German: Hallo, wie geht's dir?

Mandarin: Nǐ hǎo! Nǐ hǎo ma?

Hindi: Namaste, aap kaise hain?
